Our Mission :
To be the leading provider of online medical health information in Nigeria, educating people on some of the most common medical conditions as well as enabling healthcare professionals improve the care of patients.
Medical information provided on this website is designed to support, NOT replace, the relationship that exists between a patient/site visitor and his/her physician.
How we started?
Nigeriandoctors.com was founded in 2004 by two professionals, a medical doctor and a software/web programmer.
Our idea was to provide a one stop medical web portal where people can have access to credible and up to date medical information.
We started of with the design of a web based database repository
of Nigerian physicians where Nigerian physicians anywhere in
the world can log on and search our central database for physicians either
by surname or medical specialty, to further enhance the primary healthcare delivery system in Nigeria, we
decided to enhance the web portal further by giving users access to a wealth of medical information on a wide variety of medical conditions
, clinical symptoms, relevant medical news and medical breakthroughs from all around the world.
The Internet Revolution
Internet based technology and our technical expertise has enabled us to design and develop this database-driven web infrasctructure.
Our meticulous research and dedicated hardwork has placed us at the forefront of online medical information in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
The quality of our content has been highly recognized both in Africa and internationally.

Upon the invitation of very experienced practising Nigerian physicians in various medical specialties, we have been able to enhance our user's online experience by
creating an online Question & Answer forum which is comprised of a team of specialist medical doctors and a pharmacist.
The sole purpose of the Q & A forum is to answer any health questions from our registered members. It is hoped that this site will emerge as a highly respected medical web portal/resource in Nigeria and Africa.
